Adzuki Beans

Adzuki Beans (Vigna Angularis) are a small, oval bean that is reddish-brown in color with a thin white line down the side. The bean is about 1/4 long with a nutty, sweet flavor and firm texture. When steamed with rice, the bean gives the rice slightly pink color which is quite attractive.
